That “0” Just Enhanced Me.

Hey Lovies!

Okay, so after lastnights Pink Full Moon ritual & prayer to Divine Source, my sleep was…normal. ( Even tho the 5 year old wanted to co-sleep lol). Not sure what I was expecting but I opened my eyes around 6-ish, checked my phone, a habit that will soon be broken! Technology is like like a “catch 22” dammit !!! I use to use this time for rising meditation but the lack of discipline and all its fckn glory has gotten the best of me for a few months… But um, adios tired ass excuses!👋 

So yeah, “checked” my phone for two hours, dozed off and awoke to one of the most glorious sunrises I’ve seen in awhile. You know the ones where you smile before you even open your eyes, roll over and still feel the good vibez beaming on you, like this lifegiver set perfectly in place just so you can witness? (Narcissim is dangerous, okay?) Yo, my blinds were angled just right this A.M.😍🌞 

For my sacred practice last night, I set out intentions for healing my Being. I wrote out a list of things that needed to be released in order for me to continue to evolve. With one of the top issues I’ve dealt with being CONTROL. Right now I won’t go into much detail but when one has control issues, it normally stems from fear of the unknown or experienced circumstances that caused this mechanism to become reality. 

I lit two plain white candles: White

“The color of purity and new beginnings.  Use a white candle for rituals involving healing, new beginnings, and spiritual growth.  Also appropriate for Lunar and Goddess workings.  Church candles are usually white, thus white candles are associated with prayer, remembrance, and devotion.”

And rested.

The vibez have been awesome ever since. Earlier today I had taken a random was nap ( self-care boo boo!) While napping, I had a vision as usual and I was looking for room “608”. Now I’m not big on numerology but I do know that it is a ancient math linked with Divine Source and believe messages are codes to help us move along in this life. So as always, I sat and thought about the vision, then went to Google.

Funny how the Universe works, I’m in the process of becoming a entrepreneur and was still a lil bit nervous about getting all my business endeavours accomplished but… “That “0” definitely enhanced me!” So according to Angel Numbers, zeros enhance the number(s) it is surrounded by. Known to be the beginning of a spiritual journey, infinite, potential, choice and wholeness (amongst other attributes).  Since it was joined by 6 ( selflessness, family, grace , gratitude, responsibility etc.) then 8 ( abundance , prosperity, serving humanity, Karma, self confidence, discernment etc.) I have nothing to fear!

Discipline, the lack of it alongside fear, will cause you to procrastinate, become depressed then here comes the self sabotaging. DO NOT SUCCUMB TO IT! I am a witness to these struggles. I officially started my brand in 2014, did okay but I desire to be GREATNESS!  You cannot become better than average with these as the homies. ✌ As this journey of newness begins, gratitude is in abundance right now. (y’all don’t even know how hype I Am!) 😁😁😁

Cultivating great emotional health is imperative on this new journey of wombmanhood & keeping your sanity is a definite must. Reaching out to other(s) via online groups/forums, local classes, or taking the time out to jot down daily thoughts may bring a sense of relief. Remember whatever activity (healthy please) that promotes stress & help you defeat anxiety, go for it! You are transitioning, be easy on yourself. 

👵💪👌🏃Y’all, this beautifully fit wombman in the photograph is in her 60’s!!!! 🙌👏 #goals Prime example of you being able to manifest what you set your mind to. When you are menopausal, your body is also releasing toxins. Canned foods, the microwave & environmental toxins (among others) are causing wombmen to experience “the change” earlier than expected.  If you’re not sweating when you are exercising, why not!? Lol Exercising is one of the top ways to help you release excess toxins, so why not help yourself make this new journey a bit more easier? At least 30 minutes a day of walking, running or mild strength training 3-4 times a week to start off should be fine. Alternative exercisises such as Yoga & Tai Chi will be beneficial also. (Please consult your physician prior.) 

🍎🍐🍈🍉🍒Nourish- healthy self…heal thyself. Whole foods in essence, makes one whole. While processed in itself does a process on our bodies in the long-run. With all the preservatives, additives, mystery chemicals & dyes, ain’t nobody safe😷!!! 👈(I’m exaggerating a bit lol) Whole fresh foods incorporated within balanced meals including nutrients such as Vitamin E, B Complex,Vitamin A & C are great for combating symptoms. It’s Lint!

ME: ” Please don’t let him see the Turtles, please don’t let him see the Turtle’s, please don’t le…”.

Nosy ass 4yr Old: *yelling for all of Burlington Coat Factory to hear..”MOM, IT’S NINJA TURTLES !!!!” 
I owed the youth some new gear so Mikey and his karate chopping ass friends won this match. 😏

The material on this fleece jogging suit (worn twice BTW) tried to bring mama bad vibes but I quickly nipped that in the bud, cause who has coins to be wasting like that???

You can achieve lint free clothing simply by taking a shaving razor and GENTLY start to “shave” off the lint in a downward motion to remove the little nuances. Quite quick, simple and cost effective if you don’t have a lint brush/remover on hand.

I would recommend removing the lint on a hard surface (kitchen table/counter) to avoid this mishap on any other material that may pick up lint easily.

Keep That Cough Over There Tho…

Greetings lovies! Where my sacred healers at with it!? Hopefully wearing gas masks with the foolish ass germs that have made a comeback this season…. Y’all hear about the guy that was diagnosed with the Bubonic Plague!? I bet the whole lab ran up out of there that day, it got mad real! lol …Any who, enough with my shenanigans…  tis’ is the season for colds and flu to make a grand entrance, (yes, even if taking precautions , they can still catch you slippin’). So…. why not lace you with some legit cold and flu remedies that can help to heal and/or soothe your pains.


**Look, first and foremost, home-girl (me) is not a professional licensed healer, just a young empress that has done extensive research and safely incorporated the ways of our ancestors into present day living. Though I have never had any negative experiences by practicing self-care, to be on the safe side, feel free to do your own research and consult a professional. In other words, don’t come for me baybayy, you have to do what’s best for you and yours and I feels that. Love & Light -Zioness.  **

And here we goooo (Slick Rick Voice).

Okay, the first ingredients to this wonderful concoction include goods that just may be already in the crib —-> Lemon, Ginger Root and Honey (Preferably raw honey and organic fruits) .




Lemon: Which provides you with a magnificent source of immune boosting powerhouse Vitamin C. Vitamin C helps to neutralize free radicals (cancer causing molecule or atoms that promote inflammation and swelling leading cause of sickness).

Ginger Root: *Warning, this can be a little spicy when taken by itself but no worries, the last ingredient brings that sweetness back into effect. Ginger Root, which helps sweat out toxins in the being and can help relieve nausea and vomiting.

Raw Honey: (Awesome humectant btw!) Honey is known to tame sore throats, can be a cough suppressant, fight off viral infections and decrease the risk of fevers. As I mentioned in the above paragraph, the Honey takes away the tartness and spiciness of the Lemon and Ginger Root aswell.

Tools You Need From The Kitchen:

Time about 20 mins.

  • Sharp Kitchen Knife
  • Cutting Board (optional)
  • Mason Jar w/lid (8,16, or 32, depending on family size)
  • Grater (optional)

*Ingredients can be modified to fit your families needs, I normally use one lemon, thumb size ginger root and enough honey to fill a 8oz size Mason Jar and this will last about a week but we only ingest it when sick. Depending on health and diet, you begin to see results in about two days. Recipe lasts about a month or two.

Step One: Safety first ! (in our day in age, you just never know where peoples hands have been when handling your produce) You want to make sure that all your fruits are thoroughly washed. I use the Apple Cider Vinegar method where you fill your kitchen sink up with water, apply 2-3 caps full of vinegar, insert fruit or veggies in the water and allow them to soak for 10-15 mins, wash off and then proceed as normal.

Step Two: Since this will be the longest step of our process, I grate the Ginger Root first, then slice the root about the size of a quarter and set to the side. (Can be placed in water while prepping to prevent oxidation though I don’t think the process is will be that long.)

Step Three: Finely slice the lemon about 1/2 inch, no need to grate, set aside.

Step Four: Wash out your handy dandy Mason Jar and begin to layer the lemon and ginger root until you can’t stack em’ no’ mo’. No really, leave enough room to allow the honey seep in and still have enough room for the top to securely tighten people.

Step Five: Finally, enough with the manual labor right? Nahhh..Now you take that raw or organic honey and make it do what it do lol (Okay, ill stop.) Pour enough honey to cover your cut up goodies, apply lid and place in the fridge and let the magick be had in yo’ fridge boo.

The next day, give praises to the highest, dab and then try your goodness!

When my love and I normally come down with the “yucks” as my prynce calls it, we normally take two tablespoons per day. But I Am also seeing that people are using this remedy in a tea form? (Hot drinking water and about 2-3 table spoons and sipping in the A.M.) If you think this version works better, please let me know! I’m also seeing herbal Tea brands such as Yogi that are incorporating Teas that promote the same effect such as their Lemon and Ginger Tea, so this is another option and you don’t have the time to get it crackin’ or slicin’ in the kitchen.

Lovies, listen to your body, when you are having an ailment, you are in some sort or form, out of balance. Be sure to take care of yo’self love. Connection to the source, proper nutrition, diet , sleep , exercise and even love makin’ amongst other things can benefit the divine in you greatly. A Basic Guide For Opening Your Own Childcare Center.


Greetings loves! It’s been awhile(we will dive into that ocean later) but after working in the oh so trying yet loving and rewarding childcare field for a few years, it’s been on my heart to share a few tips for those of us who have been debating if opening up and actually directing a chilcare center of our own is a legit desire to partake upon. (These are just a few of the basics from my actutal work experience, hence the title…Feel free to use the guidelines regarding to your states requirements and/or how you envision your own center, remember to always do your own research loves…btw, some tips may or may not be in order..) Alright, lets get it!!


1.) Check Your Credentials

Aspiring entrepreneurs whom plan on working with youths (ESPECIALLY other people’s youths lol) should deeply consider if they have the wholehearted compassion and patience to not only teach but are able to give the youth the attentiveness they may require. (If you have no experience, “don’t even like kids”, or just looking for some quick mulah, this is not the profession for you. I recommend anyone who is thinking about pursuing this field  schedule time to “sit in” with or “interview” several center director’s before moving forward with a final decision. Next, childcare requires that the person(s)(director and staff) are certified in both CPR/First-Aide( local YMCA or Red Cross for starters) and a updated background check(State Capital or Police Department are places these can be requested) would be needed as a precaution against pedophiles. CDA(Child Development Associate) may be required by your state aswell, check at your local community colleges, or adult education centers(if working for a childcare, they may be available to provide tuition or offer this course for free.).

2.) Apply For a License

Though most states requirements may be similar, when contacting the local business administration, besure to check your states specific requirements to open up your center. Don’t be alarmed if the process is a little more than thorough, you have to consider the nature of this business (with some of the horror stories I’ve heard and witnessed, who can blame them?) While waiting on your approval, continue to seek and inform yourself, the more knowledgeable you are, the more power and success you’ll possess 🙂 .

3.) Deciding On a Center, Home or Lot?

Look, I don’t know if y’all have ever babysat before or not but x amount of youths in a x amount sq ft house or apartment may or may not work without you needing some “space”! Lol. I couldn’t agree more with many who say the best way to start… would be from home and small (5-10 youth’s). If you just want to step out on faith and start with a big center (because you need your personal space lol)  Remember to keep up with state ratios (number of adults per child) and health/safety requirements…Which leads us into our next tip…


4.) Preparing The Center

Starting at home or settling with a a big center, keep in mind the center should provide sufficient space for free-play areas, napping (cot/crib) areas, eatery areas etc. Next, safety is of the utmost importance in cases like these, especially if the center will be catering to toddlers. (For safety reasons, I LOVED working in centers where the floors and out door play-grounds were covered in either carpet(classes) or the soft mesh material(outdoors), my heart drops everytime a youth falls plus I have a 2yr old tot so y’all know I’m extra dramatic…don’t be judging my mama-ness! Lol)  All exits/doors should remain locked or have key entries, stairs should have railings and all electrical sockets/wires should be hidden from plain view. (Basically, child-proof EVERYTHING…Like a prison..but without the bars and well..nevermind, I’m just gon’ stop here..Y’all get where I’m going.)

5.) Education, Toys and Entertainment.

Before opening your center, the owner, you, must be ready with age appropriate activities to keep the youth occupied throughout the day. (Be aware of choking/safety hazards.) For centers who would be introducing playgrounds, the equipment must be installed and inspected correctly to prevent any type of accidents. (Some centers I’ve worked for had T.V.’s and some didn’t, though the choice is ultimately yours, I would limited T.V. viewing to a hour per day on certain days during the week that’s mostly educational and encourage more free play and interaction between other youth..try to take advantage of the thousands of activities for them to incorporate their imagination into!!!..I’ll get into that on another post.) Will you be taking fieldtrips? If so, be sure to check for discounts, rates, and even special occasions when the facility can be open just for your center. (My son’s center takes local trips to the library for story time, the fire station and even a local park that is close to the center!) Don’t forget about your waivers (documents stating your consent, usually for trips and/or for youth’s pictures to be taken).


6.) Customizing Nutritious Meals

First and foremost what are your state’s guidelines as to how many meals/snacks you provide per day? What type diet(s) will you follow? Who will cook? Are you familiar with food allergies? (If you’ve ever taken peanut butter into a childcare center, you might aswell have taken concealed weapon..don’t be that person smh lol) These are just a few questions for you to ponder on. ( The fact that centers who follow a state guideline are opening up to incorporating vegetarian and vegan lifestyles is bomb! a good way. 😉 )

***Random Suggestions:

*Will you have reliable means of transportation to and fro? Not every center offers transportation, some parents are okay with this but to those who don’t have means of transportation, this can be a no go for alot of parents.

*Will you hire a specific cleaning company to deep clean or will you? What about landscaping? Sanitation of playareas and kitchen areas?

*How will you market your center?

*What makes your center unique?, Why should a parent choose your center?

* Is your center in a safe neighborhood/environment?

*Though you may only be a director of the center, keep in mind that life still occurs outside of your center, so this means call in’s from employees and you actually having to work with the youth hands on. Can you handle that? This is also important for the quality of people that you hire. So many centers bomb because of failure to provide efficient care.

*Are you financially stable enough to run a center? How will you be funding your center? How much would you charge for tuition? DON’T FORGET ABOUT GRANT MONEY! F.Y.I. , many states offer up to $5000 for opening a childcare center. (You better take advantage of that “I don’t have to pay this back” money, baby.)

**Once again, be as knowledgeable as you can, seek and you shall find..Google, your local library, local business development center anywhere you obtain help, receive it. Granted I have been some assistance for you.

*1 Banana

*1/4 Avocado

*4 Strawberries

*2 Cups of Almond Milk- Unsweetened Vanilla

* tsp Maca Root -Horomone Balance, Energy Booster, Stress Reliever + more.

*Couple pinches of Chia Seeds- protein, reduce food cravings, help you stay hydrated, lower blood pressure & are rich in Omega-3. Please choose Chia wisely, I hear there have been cases of Salmonella reported.

Shoo Fly..Don’t Bother We!

Yesss my loves, the Summer Solstice is quickly approaching us and unfortunately the fruit flies, gnats and other critters are too. For our health and safety, I prefer to use chemical free repellents or  insecticides so as a Cancer-Moon wombman, I headed to my favorite spot in the crib…you got it, the kitchen! Lol Listed below is one of the ways that I use ACV for keeping the lil critters at bay, hopefully they work for you too. Xoxo -Zioness. *1 Mason Jar w/rim lid. *1 Banana (or whatever fruit you may have on hand, sugar also works) *Aluminum Foil or Plastic Covering. *Label and/or ribbon (I was being extra, so it’s def optional lol) Fill the Mason Jar up to your liking. (My jar isn’t filled with much purposely so the fruit flies would have to actually get in the jar to…well..drown in the mixture. Hey don’t judge me, organic fruit costs too much! Lol) Next, place in the fruit or sugar of your choice. (The sweetness…gets em’ everytime) Apply aluminum or plastic covering to fit the opening of jar. After the covering is fitted correctly, use a fork, toothpick or utensils that will puncture very little holes into the covering. You don’t want the holes too big, small enough for the flies to enter. Finally, place rim of Mason Jar on top of the covering and that’s it!  You’ve now made a handy dandy “fly trap”, gon’ head witcha’ homemakin’ self lol Though the smell really doesn’t fade,  the sight of the flies can get a lil creepy, so feel free to replace the mixture as often as you like or use another container. ACV along with  baking soda , mint and lemongrass scented oils work well for keeping bugs away. Wiping counters, window seals or any place you’ve seen bugs should do the trick. Many of us as consumers, feel that we have to run to the store to purchase products but it doesn’t always have to be as such….some of our remedies are right in our very homes. Before you rush to buy, check inside. (I just made that up lol ) image
